P372
Japan will introduce mass euthanasia for citizens over 80 within the next 10 years, or the nation will cease to exist within 50 years.

What Jiang said

“I think Japan in the next 10 years will attempt to resolve its demographic crisis by introducing mass euthanasia.”

Analysis

Jiang argues Japan's aging crisis is so severe that the only path to survival is mass euthanasia of the elderly over 80; absent that choice, he believes Japan ceases to exist as a nation-state within 50 years.
